Rock Hall of Fame welcomes new Class

(I want to state that I actually like Axl and his new GN'R but prefer the old group)

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony didn't miss Axl Rose at all.

The rowdy celebration, which has been known in the past for it's awkward moments, touching tributes, and unforgettable performances, rocked without Rose, the Guns N' Roses frontman who may regret skipping a night with over 6000 fans, 1400 guests and many of musics biggest stars partied in Public Hall with the “Class of 2012”.

Guns N' Roses -minus Axl- headlined the show with Sweet Child O' Mine with most of the original band members including Duff, Steven, and Slash with the lead singer being Myles Kennedy, from Slash's solo career. Others enshrined included Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Beastie Boys, folk icon Donovan, and many others.

The first mention of Rose's name drew a smattering of boos that were quickly drowned out by music. Rose, the screeching frontman of GN'R traveling circus of dysfunction for decades, said earlier last week (as of 4/16/2012) that he didn't want to be part of a ceremony that didn't want or respect him. Though more likely it was because Slash was there.
